California doctors will be voting to raise the legal buying age of cigarettes this weekend to the age of 21. If this passes, these kids that are right out of High-School will find it more difficult to purchase tobacco products. Given that, although these kids are legal adults, their brain isn’t fully developed yet. The extra 3 years given to them will potentially decrease the amount of smokers in the already-smog ridden state of California, in-turn lowering emissions effecting the atmosphere. If you stay positive, always remember that positive things will happen. Cleaner air is a growing topic in 2016, pretty soon New York City WON’T be the cleanest air. We’ll see!
