A soup kitchen established in Kansas City has put a fresh spin on how they do their business. In order to make their homeless community feel more comfortable at soup kitchens, they instead treat it as a sit-down restaurant. For 30 years now, the Kansas City Community Kitchen has been serving the needy with the needed. As of February 5th it reinvented how they serve their visitors. Not only do they serve their food like a diner, but they also cook food like a diner. Michael Curry, executive chef, prepares an assortment of food you can find on their menu. So, the next time you’re down and thinking that all hope is lost, just remember-if you stay positive, positive things will happen.
